The civil organization SPERO was established in 2018 by a group of experts in the field of sociology, political science and psychology.

SPERO is a young organization, but since its foundation we organized more than 50 studies, public opinion polls (CATI and CAPI), as well as such landmark event as the exit poll on the 2020 presidential election, showing high accuracy of the civil control and forecast of election results.

Expanding high-quality scientific and friendly relations with national and international experts, SPERO became a co-organizer of the conference "Transformations of Political Systems in Romania, Belarus and Ukraine: Lessons for Moldova", which took place on September 23, 2020, followed by the II and III International Conferences: "Fundamentals of Sustainable Development and a Secure Future of the Republic of Moldova", held on September 22 September 2021 and September 28, 2022, respectively.

The organization is the founder of the Moldova Security Platform. It is an association of experts and scientists of the Republic of Moldova, as well as international specialists interested in the formation and development of a modern, free, democratic Moldovan state.
